Questions & answers
How does the 30-day trial work?
Your first workspace starts with the full Pro plan for 30 days, including 40 interviews and 10 syntheses. No credit card is required. If you do not subscribe, the workspace becomes read-only and your research remains available to view or export.
What counts as an interview?
A non-preview interview counts only when it contains enough participant input for analysis. Interviews with too little participant input don’t count against your quota.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. When you upgrade, you get immediate access to the new plan’s features. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing cycle.
What happens if I go over my interview limit?
On the Pro plan, extra interviews cost 2.00€$2.00 each. On Research, it's 1.50€$1.50 per extra interview. Taxes are calculated at checkout based on your location. Trial workspaces cannot use overages.
Do you offer annual billing?
Not yet, but we will soon. Annual plans will include a meaningful discount.
Who owns the data?
You do. All interview transcripts, summaries, and synthesis reports are yours. Export everything anytime. We never use your research data for training or other purposes.
What’s the difference between summaries and synthesis?
Summaries are per-interview: a concise overview of what one participant said. Synthesis looks across all interviews in a project to identify themes, patterns, and insights.
What does white-label mean?
On the Research plan, you can remove the “Powered by Maren” branding from the participant interview experience. The interview looks and feels like part of your own product.
